A Step Closer ; Pre-Clinical!

Helloooo everybody! :D

Ehee its just that I'm kinda excited that finally I got the chance to blog again.

Well well well. As it is my third year in Jordan, I'm now a 3rd Year dental student at Jordan Uni of Science & Technology, Jordan or most likely to be called as JUST. So this means this year will be the last year for me in pre-clinical world before entering the clinical world. Yay! Am superbly excited and looking towards it :D

This means that I've just one year left to prepare myself  in and out especially in improvising myself with my arabic language. I do have lots of Arab friends from all different countries but yeah we do communicate in English.hehe :p Guess will hafta talk with them moreee in arabic :3  Other than that, I need to strengthen all those theories and practice them perfectly in my labs this year before applying it to the real patients next year, nshallah :)

For this semester, we're required to take 7 subjects including one medical subject which is Pharmacology. Meanwhile, the other dental subjects are Dental Material II, Oral Pathology, Conservative Dentistry, Removable Prosthodontics, Oral Epidemiology & Research Methods. And for practical, we have labs for Conservation Dentistry ( usually called as Cons) and Removable Prosthodontics ( usually called as Prostho).

As it had been 3 weeks since the new semester had started, this means we also had started our Cons and Prostho lab ( because usually there'll be no lab during the first week of the semester. It is just an intoductary lecture .

For Prostho lab, we're required to make a full denture. Maksudnya kitaorang kena buat gigi palsu dalam lab Prostho ni. Ehehe well blogging in Malay seems can simplify the terms somehow :D

Oh yeah while in Cons lab, what we did was cavity preparation and performed restoration on the tooth. Dalam erti kata lain, dalam lab Cons ni kitaorang kena buat lubang dekat gigi tu ( sebab gigi tu ada caries so untuk tampal gigi kita kena buang caries tu dulu then buat cavity so that boleh letak amalgam untuk tampal gigi tu :) ) Kiranya dalam lab Cons ni belajar cara-cara nak tetampal gigi korang-korang yang rosak sebab degil taknak jaga gigi leklok dulu. Ish ish. Kan dah susah kitorang pulak kena belajar cara nak rawat korang. Hehe jokes it was fun okay drilling the tooth! :p
